Before a wall looks finished, there's a lot of work that most people never see.
At the Regional Kitchen project in Oahu, our crews are making steady progress with drywall installation, insulation, framing, and taping across several areas of the building.
Drywall and Level 1 taping have been completed in the lobby, both sides of Hallway 2, and the north and east cook/chill walls.
Meanwhile, work continues around the hallway columns, receiving hallway, and other sections requiring additional framing, drywall, and Thermafiber insulation.
Each step matters because the work that follows depends on what's been properly prepared beforehand.
From closing up the walls to preparing joints and surfaces for the next coat, these are the details that help keep the finishing process moving.
And behind that progress are the crews putting in the hours, coordinating their work, and giving each area the attention it needs.
It's not always the most noticeable part of construction, but it's an important part of getting the building ready for what comes next.
