And that’s a wrap at Lanakila District Park.

The crew finished painting the screen vents, touched up graffiti around the gym building, cleaned up the site, and brought all tools, extra paint, and equipment back to the warehouse.

It’s always a good feeling seeing a project reach this stage clean, complete, and ready for the final walkthrough and inspection.

What looks like cotton behind the wall is actually part of the building’s protection system.

This material is used inside wall assemblies to help support fire-rated areas, reduce sound transfer, and add another layer of safety before the drywall closes everything in.

It may not be the most visible part of the build once the walls are finished, but this is the kind of behind-the-wall work that matters most.

Tucson, AZ, B50 - Expand Renovate VA continued framing corridor wall C13 up to the deck above, working through a congested overhead area where precision matters.

The crew also installed corridor backing, laid out the communication room, and continued top-out work for the hard lid ceilings.

The crew continued installing doors in the high-security area, completed cement board and fire taping on the 2nd floor roof walls, and kept moving on flashing, perforated flashing, insulation, and cement board along the north side.

Small details like fire tape, flashing, and insulation may not always stand out on camera, but they play a big role in protection, durability, and keeping the structure ready for the next phase.
