Happy National Dog Day. Also - it’s a great reminder: in this heat, if you let your dogs outside, make sure they have access to shade, water, and, even better, access to indoor AC. Give your dogs a hug and maybe an extra treat to celebrate.

A bigger A/C unit will automatically make your house cooler.

When it comes to air conditioning, bigger isn't automatically better. HVAC equipment needs to be properly sized for the home it's cooling. An oversized system can cycle on and off too quickly, which can affect comfort, humidity control and efficiency.
