Construction update at the Cut-Off Natatorium!

Metal building er****on is underway as the building is starting to take form. It’s exciting to see this project come to life and move one step closer to serving the community. Designed to support recreation and year-round programming, this facility will create a dynamic space for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

During the inaugural AIA New Orleans Center for Architecture and Design Architecture Week, two of our team members, Anna Bertucci Ghelase and Crystal Mitchell , had the opportunity to mentor high school students exploring a future in architecture. Partnering alongside professional mentors and students from Tulane University, participants took part in an immersive design charrette—developing concepts through sketches and physical models.
Five teams presented their work to a jury of Tulane professors, receiving thoughtful feedback and recognition for standout ideas. Rather than working with a single team, Anna and Crystal served as floating mentors—supporting all groups, encouraging creativity, and helping students push their designs further.
