They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This one needed a video!

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka, Indiana, is a breathtaking example of what happens when extraordinary architecture meets the craftsmanship it deserves. Every angle of this new Slate roof gives you something else to admire. Every detail represents someone’s skill, patience, and hard work getting it right.

To everyone on our team who had a hand in this roof: we hope you’re watching this with the biggest smile!

Our 4th Halloween blood drive was a huge success! 🩸🎃

Thank you to everyone who came out to donate and support the event, including our vendors, suppliers, team members, and community. A special Thank You to Rachelle from Carter BloodCare for partnering with us, and to DeVivo’s Eatery-Italian kitchen, Pizzeria & Bakery in Keller for the delicious food. You helped make the day extra special!

This event means a lot to us. As the holiday season gets closer, donations can be harder to come by, but patients still need blood every day. Carter BloodCare told us this was their most successful October event, and that they needed every single donation. That means so much to us, and we’re incredibly thankful to everyone who gave.

If you weren’t able to make it, please consider donating at a future drive. You never know when you or someone you love might need it. ❤️

We cannot make this post without giving a special shout out to Dennis Williams for being the main coordinator of this event for Precision. Thank you Dennis for the hard work, attention to detail and love you put into this and what you do. We appreciate you!

Progress update from Trinity Lutheran Church in Michigan City, Indiana!

The main roof is nearly complete. New slate is down across the main field, with copper valleys and flashing tying each section together.

The steeple is in the home stretch, with just one slope left to slate. The tower is getting a full set of custom copper. Each corner pinnacle has been hand-fabricated and soldered to match the original profiles, then capped with copper ball finials. A new copper finial now crowns the top of the spire.

Next up: the final steeple slope, the remaining copper trim, and the roof areas under the scaffolding. Once the tower is done, the scaffolding comes down and the last sections get finished.

Thanks to PM Gary Moore II and the whole crew for keeping this job safe, organized, and on track in the middle of downtown. Work like this is what keeps a landmark standing for the next hundred years. More updates soon!

Slate restoration underway in Clayton, MO! 🏠

This classic slate roof is getting a full upgrade - A new North Country Slate: Natural Slate Roofs Semi-Weathering Grey/Green slate paired with a copper package. The roof is nearly dried in, and next the crew will carefully blend the slate to make sure the colors are balanced across the whole roof once it’s installed.

Great work so far by Jeremey Bates and the crew. This project is under the watchful eye of our project manager, Rafael Casias.

Slate will be loading up soon. Get ready! 💪 Give the team a call and come say his to the team on the ground!

Got another Ludowici restoration done in St. Louis. This one’s a 25 square Summer Rose job with 206 ft of ridge, custom copper cut and closed valleys, copper wall cladding, and custom copper crickets. Gutters are going on soon.

This homeowner was one of a lot of folks around here who got hit by the tornado and the spring storms. Jeremey Bates and Drew Klass ran this one, and the crew really delivered. Proud of how this one came out.

Dry-in complete in Centerville, Iowa! 🏛️✅

Big milestone on the Appanoose County Courthouse.

The entire roof is now sealed up with CertainTeed VYCOR underlayment, protecting this historic landmark from the elements as we head into the next phase.

Huge thanks to our crew for the hard work up there, and to the Centerville community for your patience while we work. More updates coming soon!

Another beautiful North Country Slate project is taking shape in Peoria, Illinois!

We're installing 18" x 10" North Country Slate: Natural Slate Roofs Unfading Black Slate with mitered hips, full copper drip edge, valleys, custom inlaid gutters, and copper accessories throughout.

The crew is making great progress on this one, and the craftsmanship is really starting to show. There's nothing quite like the combination of natural slate and copper, especially when you bring all these custom details together.

Great job by Grant Olson securing this project, and Angel Briones keeping a watchful eye on the installation and our crew in the field.

Looking forward to seeing this one cross the finish line. It's going to be another pretty roof!

Another historic one underway! 🇺🇸

Precision Construction & Roofing is officially mobilized at the Appanoose County Courthouse in Centerville, Iowa.

Built in 1903–1904, this courthouse has stood in the center of Centerville for more than 120 years and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Now our team has the opportunity to be part of the next chapter in preserving it.

The scaffolding is up, our crews are on site, and the extensive tear-off and dry-in process has begun as we move forward with this Ludowici clay tile restoration.

These are the projects we love. Historic buildings, complicated roof systems, clay tile, and a responsibility to put it back the right way so it can be there for another generation.

We have a long way to go, but this one is going to be fun to watch come back together.

St. Louis tornado restoration, complete!

As usual, this one didn't miss a single detail. Ludowici K-English in a custom four-color blend, copper all the way around, and the craftsmanship to match, including custom copper standing seam throughout.

This is what a real restoration is supposed to look like. The crew absolutely killed it, and the finished roof shows it.
