Chris Jaubert and Josh Sitton met in the ninth grade at Pensacola Catholic High School in Pensacola. Their quick friendship developed over pre-season football practices and through the many classes they shared. In 2014, they started Bear General Contractors in Lafayette, La., where Chris Jaubert settled after graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in construction management. Josh

🇺🇸 Today, Episcopal Day School held a wonderful student performance honoring America’s 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution.

Bear General Contractors has been fortunate to partner with EDS for many years, and we are proud to support opportunities that celebrate education, history, and community.

In 2018, Bear General Contractors was honored to install the statue of Bernardo de Gálvez in downtown Pensacola, created by talented sculptors Bob Rasmussen and Kathryn R. Vincze.

Bear General Contractors celebrates the completion of the Orange Beach Athletic Complex – an education and recreation facility that will serve the Orange Beach High School community for generations to come. This 18-month project showcases the exceptional leadership of Project Manager Todd Polk and a team of Superintendents Ryan Jones, Ed Scheper, and Zachary Tripp; whose commitment to quality and collaboration drove success from groundbreaking through final delivery.

Located in Orange Beach, Alabama, this state-of-the-art athletic complex features a design that compliments the existing campus and broader community. The project included a modern field house with dedicated training facilities, locker rooms, and administrative spaces, complemented by a championship-caliber football field as well as covered practice field for multiple sports. A prominent grandstand provides seating for spectators while creating an impressive venue for school events.

This facility represents our dedication to building infrastructure that strengthens communities and supports student-athletes for years to come. Congratulations to the entire project team and trade partners who made this achievement possible.

Bear General Contractors recently completed an intensive eight-week Dale Carnegie training program, investing in the professional development of our team members across multiple disciplines.

The program focused on three core areas that directly impact our project delivery and team performance. Participants developed enhanced organizational techniques to manage projects more effectively, strengthened communication and collaboration skills to build stronger client relationships, and refined leadership abilities to inspire others, guide teams through challenges, and drive confident decision-making.

This and other training is enabling Bear employees to lead better projects, create smoother teamwork, and contribute to the growth and development of our community.
