Matt fixed a leaking tank on this Kohler today. He put in a new tank-to-bowl gasket, mounting plate and brass bolts. It's tight, it doesn't rock, and there's not a drip after the flush.

"What does a bathroom remodel cost?"

The honest answer is that a bathroom remodel is a range, and the range is wide. What moves it:

Are we moving plumbing? Keeping the toilet, tub and vanity where they are is the single biggest cost saver. Moving a drain line means opening the floor.

Tile versus cultured marble or a molded surround. Big swing, both in materials and labor.

Fixture level. The gap between builder-grade and high-end is thousands of dollars, and it's entirely your call.

Powder room or full bath. Not remotely the same job.

We'd rather quote your actual bathroom than a generic one. That conversation is free.

Mike and Alex were out this week with the hydro jetter. 💦

A hydro jetter uses high-pressure water to clean and clear debris from the inside of sewer pipes.

This one wasn't a clog. The customer has a belly in their sewer line — a low spot where water and solids settle instead of draining through. We jet it once a year so that stuff doesn't build up and back into the house.

Prevention beats a backup.
