BOO! 👻 The only thing scarier than a haunted house? A contractor who GHOSTS you halfway through your remodel! 😱

We’ve heard some renovation horror stories over the years, but hiring a contractor shouldn’t be scary!

At Davies Builders, we’ve proudly served West Michigan since 1998, building our reputation on quality craftsmanship, honesty, integrity, and transparency.

What makes us most proud? Nearly 98% of our business comes from referrals!💛

Many of our clients have trusted us for decades. We’ve watched their families grow, their kids become homeowners, and their homes evolve along the way. Through it all, Jay is still their first call!

To us, our clients aren’t just customers. They’re part of the Davies Builders family.

We’d love the opportunity to earn your trust, too!

No tricks. No disappearing acts. Just quality craftsmanship and relationships that last.

Loving these beautiful Michigan fall days!

We’ve been taking full advantage of the sunshine and making great progress on a client’s deck!

Beautiful composite decking, sleek black railings, and appreciating those gorgeous fall colors in the background? 😍🍂

Not a bad view from the jobsite!

We’re making the most of these beautiful days before winter arrives!

Countertop Installation Day! 😍

It’s always an exciting day for both the homeowners and our Davies Builders team when the countertops go in! It’s one of those moments during a remodel when the kitchen really starts coming to life.

Countertops are such a major element in kitchen design, and we love how these beautiful, softly veined surfaces create a light, bright, and welcoming atmosphere.

And can we talk about that extra-long island?! ❤️ Designed with seating on both sides, it gives this large family plenty of room to gather, share meals, catch up on their day, and make memories together.

We still have some finishing touches ahead, but we're getting closer to seeing this beautiful kitchen come together!

Love COLOR? Over all, the all-white, beige, and greige kitchens? And maybe you have a home with traditional oak trim?

This one’s for you! 🤎

Who says you have to paint all that beautiful oak trim white to give your home a fresh, updated look?

I’m loving this Warm Organic Transitional style with a Modern Craftsman influence. It embraces the natural character of oak while introducing rich olive greens, earthy terracotta, warm creams, beautiful textures, and a little aged brass.

It’s colorful without being overwhelming, modern without feeling trendy, and warm without being stuck in the ’90s. 😉

And the best part? These inspiration photos feature REAL product selections you can use to recreate the look!

Sherwin-Williams Paint

* Pewter Green SW 6208
* Alabaster SW 7008
* Cavern Clay SW 7701

Quartz Countertops: Cambria Kenwood

Backsplash: Bedrosians Cloé Crème Glossy Ceramic Tile, 2.5” × 8”

Finishing Touches: Natural oak trim, aged brass, olive and terracotta textiles, and plenty of organic textures.

The rooms are AI-generated design inspiration, but the featured paint, quartz, and tile are actual products you can explore for your own home.

So, who’s ready to bring some COLOR back into their home? And who’s keeping their oak trim?

Happy Boss’s Day to our favorite bosses… YOU, our wonderful clients!

Jay and I might own Davies Builders, but our clients are the ones who keep us busy doing what we love!

Nearly 98% of our projects come from referrals, and that means the world to us. There’s something pretty special about neighbors, friends, and past clients trusting us enough to recommend us to the people they care about.

Thank you for welcoming us into your homes, supporting our passion, our family business, and keeping us on our toes!

We feel pretty lucky to work for such great bosses, right here in the community we call home.

Happy Boss’s Day!

Today, on Women-Owned Business Day, Davies Builders is celebrating women who choose to follow the path that inspires them — whatever that field may be.

Construction. Design. Business. Medicine. Education. The trades. Entrepreneurship. There is no one role women are meant to fill and no one path they are expected to follow.

As co-owner of Davies Builders, Dawn is proud to work in an industry she loves-helping design spaces, manage projects, solve problems, and bring clients’ ideas to life.

Here’s to women building businesses, careers, families and communities.

Happy Women-Owned Business Day!

Almost forgot National Coffee Day… clearly I didn’t have enough coffee today. 😂☕️

Coffee + design days = my favorite kind of days.

When you have 5 job sites on the schedule in one day… you pick up the pace. 😂💨
Jay understood the assignment.

Client meetings are just better when there’s a dog involved. 🐾😂

Meet Cassie, our newest little project assistant. We talked kitchens, laundry rooms, and what she would like to see the basement remodel to include. We wrapped up the meeting with kisses and hugs.😍
