Meet Melissa Williams, Senior Landscape Designer at Rivertown Landscapes. Melissa holds a master’s degree in landscape architecture and urban design from the Edinburgh College of Art at the The University of Edinburgh and brings extensive international and national experience to her work. She has contributed to projects with the National Trust for Scotland and the Indian National Trust for Arts and Cultural Heritage, as well as large scale urban design efforts in Detroit with Hamilton Anderson Associates and Bedrock.

Today, she focuses on residential design, where she integrates architectural style with the natural environment to create cohesive, meaningful landscapes. She is especially attuned to the relationship between built and natural spaces, and the unique opportunities each project presents.

Melissa was drawn to Rivertown Landscapes for its commitment to high-quality, full-service design, construction, and maintenance. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, exploring the woods with her children, traveling, and reading.
