It was a great afternoon at the Cenovus Energy 15th Annual Health & Safety Fair at the Toledo Refinery — and IPS was proud to be part of it. 🦺

Our team showed up to donate door prizes and volunteer throughout the day — serving food, punching raffle tickets, and staffing the dunk tank for refinery employees and on-site workers from across the contractor community.

Events like this one reflect something IPS believes deeply: safety culture isn't built in toolbox talks alone — it's built in the moments when a whole community comes together around it. We're grateful to Cenovus for including us.

Great day on the course for a great cause. ⛳

IPS was pleased to serve as the Closest to the Pin Sponsor at the Toledo Public Schools Foundation's 1849 Open — held last week at Stone Oak Country Club.

The Toledo Public Schools Foundation bridges the gap between what schools have and what students truly need — funding scholarships, classroom innovation, and opportunities that shape the future of our community. With TPS educating generations of Toledoans since 1849, supporting this event was an easy decision.

A huge thank you to the TPS Foundation for putting together a tremendous event, and congratulations to all of the day's winners.

The scoreboard at Fifth Third Field isn't the only place you'll find a winning team. ⚾

Members of the IPS Insulation Division recently headed out for a Toledo Mud Hens game — spending an evening together away from the shop, cheering on Toledo's hometown team and enjoying a well-deserved night out.

The people who insulate some of the most complex industrial and commercial projects in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan deserve more than a great shift — they deserve a great team around them too. Nights like this are how we keep that culture strong.

Some people leave a job. Others leave a legacy.

IPS recently gathered to celebrate the retirement of Jake Lewallen, our Maintenance Shop Manager and a member of the IPS family for over 33 years.

Jake has been a steady, skilled, and dependable presence in our shop through decades of growth, change, and challenge. The kind of person who shows up every single day and makes everything around him better — without ever needing recognition for it.

We are so grateful for everything Jake has given to this company, and even more grateful to have had the chance to send him off the right way — surrounded by the team that has been proud to work alongside him.

Jake, from all of us at IPS — thank you. Enjoy your retirement. You've more than earned it. 🎉🔧

There's something uniquely satisfying about building something in your own shop and installing it on your own building — especially when three of your own divisions make it happen together. 🔧🏛️

When IPS needed a custom two-story egress staircase on the rear of our Corporate Headquarters — the historic Ford Club building on Dixie Highway in Rossford — our Sheet Metal, Ironworker, and GC Divisions took it on as a true team effort.

Our GC Division handled the foundation work the staircase sits on. Our Ironworkers worked hand-in-hand with our Sheet Metal team through every phase of design, fabrication, and installation — from raw steel in our 100,000 SF fab shop right across the street to a finished structure connecting the second-floor auditorium emergency exit to the ground.

Originally built in 1917 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Ford Club is a building with a story worth preserving — and we're proud that the hands doing that work are our own. 💪

The IPS Pull Truck had a strong weekend at the Wood County Fair Tractor Pull! 🚛🔥

Driver Matt Hinkle competed in two classes and brought home two finishes worth celebrating:

🏅 5th Place — Workstock Class
🏆 3rd Place — Open Diesel Class

Competing in two classes in one night takes serious preparation and even more horsepower — and Matt delivered on both. We couldn't be more proud to have him behind the wheel representing IPS.

The tour continues! Next up: Henry County Fair — August 14th at 6PM. Come out and cheer him on. 💪
