5 signs a home is designed well:

📌 Its got a point of view.
📌 Outside feels like part of the home.
📌 Light is part of the plan from day 1.
📌 Every detail was chosen, not added.
📌 Its about how it feels, not how big it is.

Warm wood is making a strong return in home design, and it feels especially at home across New England.

Rich wood tones, natural stone, and tactile finishes can bring warmth and character to an entryway before you even step inside. A stained front door is an easy way to introduce that natural look while complementing everything from traditional New England homes to more modern exteriors.

If you are thinking about updating your entry, consider how the right door finish can help shape the entire look and feel of your home.

Same home. Two completely different moods.

By day, expansive Pella windows bring in natural light and frame the surrounding views. By night, they reveal the warmth of the interior and create a striking contrast against the evening sky.

From sunrise to dusk, the right windows help define how a home looks, feels, and connects to its surroundings.

Day or night, great design holds up.

Window walls are one of our favorite design features. These floor-to-ceiling designs make a room feel bigger and connect it to the outdoors.

Tackling any home projects this weekend?

Did you know? Many older double-hung windows were built with sash cords, pulleys, and hidden counterweights inside the frame. This system helped balance the sash so the window could open more easily and stay in place.

It is one of the many details that gives older New England homes their character. If your original windows are becoming drafty, difficult to operate, or showing their age, replacement windows will help improve comfort, performance, and everyday function while still complementing the style of your home.

Replacing your windows is a big investment in your home, and choosing the right windows goes beyond finding a style you love.
