Progress is taking shape inside the future home of Abacus Architects.

One of the biggest transformations happening right now is the opening of the second floor to create a more connected, open environment throughout the office. The new design will feature an open upper level with a glass railing, bringing more light, visibility, and collaboration into the space.

This feature is especially meaningful because it reflects a vision one of our founders and owners has talked about for years. Seeing that idea begin to come to life makes this project even more exciting for our team.

From the earliest walkthroughs to framing progress today, it’s rewarding to watch the future home of Abacus continue to take shape. We’re looking forward to sharing more updates as construction moves forward.

We’ve called a lot of places home in Milwaukee over the years, but none of them were truly ours. Each office represented a chapter of growth, from a small team with big goals to the collaborative firm we are today.

Now, for the first time, we’re building a space designed around our people, our culture, and the way we work together.
