Real oak stair treads to match their Luxury Vinyl Plank. Homeowner is in Construction, and wants to his own railing, post, and spindles. He’s going to paint, as well👍 They did not like the existing Colonial Scroll Brackets ( Spandrels) on the end/outside of the stringer,and with all the coats of paint on it would have needed much sanding and would have been an incredible mess( their home was spotless!). More than happy to make a ‘Stringer Cover’, and save them a headache 😁

Another staircase for today. I’m just going to add… the carpet was on the steps for 30+ years. The stringers( sides) need to be painted. We are not Painters. They are hiring one. Years ago I was a General Contractor. Long ago I decided to strictly concentrate on Hardwood, Tile and LVP (since it was first intrduced),including staircases because i truly love what i do! If you need flooring, I would suggest hiring someone who specializes in that. You’ll be much happier with 35 years of experience and 1000’s of jobs, than with an outfit that tries to do a little bit of everything.

Higher end LVP is a great choice for flooring. But we don’t recommend it for stairs. So they chose a Hickory landing and Oak stair treads, pulling different colors from the LVP( Luxury Vinyl Plank), which was on the 1st floor and in the basement rec room. The staircase and landing tying both floors together👍
