Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable plumber to join our team so we can expand our services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing to include new construction and service work, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills. HVAC/R and Heating experience plus.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
• Diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate solutions
• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing systems
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing codes
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber/heating tech
• Valid plumbing license and certifications recommended
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

“Starting in 2023 through the end of 2032, all homeowners will be eligible for a 30% federal tax credit on the total cost of buying and installing their new heat pump, with a maximum credit of $2,000.

The High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate Act — part of the The Inflation Reduction Act — can also help you offset the cost of purchasing a heat pump — depending on your income.

You could be eligible for up to $1,750 for a heat-pump water heater and $8,000 for a heat pump for space heating if your household income is less than 150% of your state’s median income.

Heat pump federal tax credit 2022

For heat pumps installed in 2022, there is a smaller tax credit of 10% of the cost up to $500 or a specific amount from $50-$300.

Heat pump state rebates

If your household income is less than 80% of your state’s median household income, then you qualify for the full rebate — meaning if you purchase both the heat pump and heat pump water heater, you could get $9,750 back.

If you make between 80 to 150% of your state’s median income, you’re eligible for 50% of the rebate — so you could get up to $4,875 back.

You might be able to claim some other state-administered rebates associated with making efficiency upgrades to your home when installing your heat pump.”

Is your heating system being properly maintained? Are you paying for an annual service and believe everything is getting done that should be done? Next time ask if the firebox, metal vent piping and heat heat exchanger were cleaned along with the burner service.

This oil boiler was just cleaned last year. Unfortunately, the job was not a full service and this firebox shows years of buildup. The top of the boiler into the heat exchanger is where a brush is run through to clean the soot off the fingers. Soot reduces heat transfer and your money spent on oil goes out the chimney. This amount of negligence will cause damage to the boiler over time and premature failure. Keep your oil heating system cleaned and burn less oil keeping more of that money in your pocket.

Replaced an old inefficient oil boiler that had the tankless coil for domestic hot water. Installed a Pure Pro triple pass high efficiency oil boiler and indirect hot water. Never run out of hot water again.

Sometimes the areas we need to work in are not pleasant but the job still needs to get done. This is a crawl space in a century old home that is getting a complete rehab. It will be nice when it’s done.

The responsibilities of an Apprentice Plumber include assembling pipes, handling many different tools, cleaning job sites, inconsistent work hours and daily travel to the work locations. The Apprentice Plumber can expect to assist in complex jobs and handle smaller jobs on their own.

A successful Apprentice Plumber will be well-organized and detail-oriented. You should have good customer service skills, be able and willing to follow instructions, and be prepared to travel to clients' homes to complete your work.

Duties and Responsibilities

Identify issues with plumbing systems,
Perform cleaning and unclogging services,
Install or assemble plumbing fixtures,

Help to ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes,

Requirements and Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent,
Vocational training may be advantageous,
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for prompt start of the day,
Pass criminal background check,
Ability to lift over 50 lbs,
Willingness to learn on the job, go through training, and earn a qualification as a Plumber,
Adept at using the basic tools of the trade,
Quick learner,
Good math skills for accurate measurements,
Excellent manual dexterity,

Starting pay will be based on experience, starting at $10-$15 per hour . 90 day probationary period and no additional benefits during the probationary period.
