We are working on the final stages of design development and prepping our submission to the Board of Architectural Review for this project we've been working on in historic Old Town Alexandria.

One of Alexandria's many 'twins', this house will undergo a complete renovation, including a three-story addition at the rear of the property.

A project of this scale, especially in such a historically significant setting, comes with multiple complexities and challenges. Every design decision requires careful consideration, balancing a contemporary addition with its historic context. These renderings help convey our vision to both the client and various review boards, but also get us excited to see our design become a reality!

We look forward to sharing more about this project in the coming weeks.

We're working on a new project and are excited to share some preliminary design options!

The project involves the addition of a primary bedroom suite and screened-in porch on the first floor. By accommodating all of life's daily activities on a single level, our clients will be able to age in place without needing to go up and down stairs.

By enhancing the daily lives of our clients, we ensure value is added both now and into the future.

We wanted to share with you some of the material studies we’ve been working on to select the different finishes and colors for one of our projects.

Located in Montgomery County, this existing home is undergoing a complete transformation. However, for us, it is an important design decision to respect and complement the original materials and character of the house.

As the leaves begin to change and we head into Fall, our home renovation project in North Bethesda is nearing completion!

For months, every room has been covered by tarps and flooring protection, but now as we make final finish selections and as the protective coverings are removed - you can really see the vision coming together!

We're excited to share the final results with you sometime next month. In the meantime, check out the progress we’ve made over the summer!

What was once just a stuffy, difficult to access, attic space is now a bright multi-functional room that simultaneously serves as a home office, guest bedroom, music studio, laundry room and storage space - all within the original 350 SF footprint.

Maximizing the functionality of every surface of the room makes this small space feel 3x larger than it actually is!

Summer is almost over, but we didn’t want it to end before sharing some photos from another project that started earlier this month.

Located in North Bethesda, this mid-century modern home is undergoing a full renovation to meet the needs of its new owners while giving new life to its original character.

Demolition is complete. Now it’s time to start bringing this house back to life. Stay tuned as the transformation takes shape!

With weather like this, it's always nice to have an outdoor space where you can relax and enjoy the day.

That's exactly what we created for this historic Capitol Hill row house. We transformed an underused backyard into a comfortable and inviting outdoor space. Sheltered by the house itself and the surrounding buildings, it offers both privacy and comfort.
