In case you missed it:

In the lab, we are testing the capabilities of a potential new repellent. While Insects Limited typically focuses on attracting insects to improve your IPM program, we recognize the value of a repellent as another tool for enhancing the efficacy of your program.

For this test we poured concrete into 10 ft test arenas. After allowing it to cure, we applied the test repellent and waited for it to dry. We then introduced insects into the arena where we could observe their behavior as they approached the treated area and count how often they turned away from the treated band rather than crossing it.
