Fall's coming, and you know that one room - The garage you never hang out in past October. The sunroom that's basically storage half the year. The attic space that's great in June and useless in December.

Sharing this because Philip Purdy used to be part of our team, and this is the kind of thing that could happen to anybody. 🚨

He was out of town celebrating his birthday when his car caught fire. He lost the vehicle and a lot of the tools he uses every day for work. As an Army Veteran he has been spending time at the VA, he's been hospitalized twice since, for chest pains and smoke inhalation from trying to get everyone and everything out of the vehicle safely. Everyone is okay physically, but he's got a long road back to normal.

If you've never priced out HVAC tools, they're not cheap. Gauges, meters, the specialty stuff, it adds up fast, and without them a tech can't work. So this isn't just about a car. It's about getting him back to being able to do his job at all.

Congratulations to Hannah and Murl Brown.

Out of every story that came in, theirs is the one. And getting to tell them was one of the best moments we've had doing this. Their girls are going to come home from school to a cool house. They're going to sleep comfortable. That's the whole reason we did this, and it feels even better than we thought it would.
