When it rain it doesn't just make a site unpleasant to work on for us all, it often changes what's possible to do.
For example, wet ground loses stability and excavations that were safe yesterday can become a risk today. Elements such as concrete pours get delayed because moisture affects the curing time. Also, tougher conditions like frost changes how soil behaves entirely.
Good groundworks contractors don't fight the weather, instead we plan around it. It means that timings shift, sequencing changes, and sometimes the right call is simply to stop and wait. That's not a delay for the sake of it though, it's about protecting the work underneath everything else.
