It's a week of team recognition!

In addition to our Employee of the Month award, this week we also celebrated Summa Milborrow-Rowland for gaining the most Kudos over the last 1/4!

She received 2 nominations for being a 'Challenge Expert', by managing to find exams misplaced on the shared drive (even the MD couldn't find them!) & for taking on additional responsibilities outside of her normal job role.

Thank you Summa for being an amazing team player, rising to the challenge and supporting us to deliver to our commitment of 'Excellent Customer Service' 🍾

At the back end of July we had our summer Team Meeting, where we celebrated all that has happened and all that is going to happen!

We also celebrated staff success, and our prestigious Employee of the Month Award for July went to Duncan Bewley! 🍾

Duncan has shown incredible work over the last couple of months, delivering excellent training (as normal), but also going above and beyond:

Asbestos training: are you meeting your legal responsibilities?

The HSE has issued a timely reminder that anyone who could disturb asbestos as part of their normal work must receive the correct level of training.

From asbestos awareness for those who may encounter asbestos-containing materials, to specialist training for non-licensable and licensable work, employers need to ensure their teams have the right knowledge to work safely and remain compliant.

Calling all Freelance CITB SSP Approved Trainers!

Due to high client demand and expansion within our services, we are looking to recruit more freelance CITB SSP Trainers, and those that can deliver all general H&S courses such as Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, CDM, Working at Heights etc.

Ideally we require trainers to be based in the East Anglian region, however further afield will also be considered if you are willing to deliver online courses and happy to travel (with travel & accommodation paid as required).

How much of your L&D team's time is spent developing people - and how much is spent administering training?

It's a question more organisations are starting to ask.
