Role Overview
Revival Joinery is a Trusted trader-backed bespoke joinery and manufacturing firm specialising in the renovation and manufacturing of high-quality timber doors and sash and case windows. We are currently looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking Apprentice Workshop Joiner to join our skilled team.
This is a significant opportunity for a motivated individual to develop high-level craftsmanship within a professional, specialised workshop environment. We are not simply looking for an extra pair of hands; we are looking to invest in the next generation of highly skilled joiners. The successful candidate will assist in the production of bespoke timber components while working toward their formal qualifications.
The Ideal Candidate
While this is an apprentice position, we maintain high standards for our workshop culture. We are looking for an individual who possesses an affinity for woodcraft and a solid foundational understanding of how structures are built.

* Punctuality & Reliability: You understand that a productive workshop relies on every team member being present, prepared, and ready to work at the start of each shift.
* Determination: You have a "stick-to-it" attitude. You do not shy away from challenging tasks and are committed to seeing a project through to completion.
* Proactive Initiative: You see the benefit of looking for ways to be helpful without being asked. You can look at the "bigger picture" of a project to anticipate what comes next.
* Mathematical Ability: You are comfortable with measurements, fractions, and basic geometry. Precision is essential in bespoke manufacturing.
Desirable Traits:
* Spatial Reasoning: The ability to visualise 3D structures and how components fit together from 2D drawings.
* Critical Thinking: The ability to troubleshoot a problem and think two steps ahead of the current task.
* Prior Knowledge: A hobbyist background or a basic, functional understanding of joinery tools and timber properties.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting senior joiners with the preparation, cutting, and assembly of bespoke timber doors and sash and case windows.
* Learning to operate a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
* Reading and interpreting basic technical drawings and cutting lists.
