Great to see our new riverside benches in use along Kingston Riverside.

Formed from solid limestone bases and our own bespoke terrazzo elements, the benches take inspiration from the megalithic character of the remarkable 14th century limestone cellar FUSEBOX . Together they celebrate the rich, and often overlooked, histories of Kingston Bridge and its riverside setting.

Cast within the terrazzo are fragments of archaeology rescued from landfill, thanks to and Dr Helen Wickstead, allowing pieces of our past to become part of everyday life once again.

The benches form part of Phase 1 of a wider public realm project led by , creating new places to pause, gather and connect along the river while celebrating the area’s remarkable heritage.

If you’re visiting, be sure to wander through the tunnel beneath Kingston Bridge to see the wonderful artwork created by students from Kingston College

A few bts moments from the making, prototyping, testing and installation of new interventions for Wild Tolworth.

It’s been incredibly rewarding to see these ideas slowly take shape in the landscape, and an amazing privilege to spend so much time working in London’s largest urban rewilding site, alongside some brilliant collaborators… including the resident cows 🐄

A huge thank you to Will & Elle Kingston School of Art 3D workshop for their incredible support on all the metalwork 🤍

We’ve been a little quiet on here recently, mostly because we’ve been busy making and installing in the sunshine!☀️

New maps, signage and monoliths are starting to appear across Tolworth Court Farm Fields as part of Wild Tolworth. It’s been really exciting seeing everything begin to take shape within the landscape.

More still to come, and we’re looking forward to continuing works on site soon! We also have plenty of making, installing etc to share over the coming weeks…

We’re currently in the prototyping stage and getting ready to be on site soon. Wild Tolworth will be one of London’s largest urban rewilding projects, and it’s exciting to see the return of cattle alongside a new wetland already beginning to flourish.

Can’t wait to get stuck in on site 🍃🌱🐂
