We were delighted to welcome the New Taipei City Architects Association (新台北市建筑师工会) to our JGP Architecture (S) Pte Ltd office for an afternoon of meaningful dialogue and professional exchange.

A sincere thank you to the delegation for taking the time to visit and for the insightful discussions with our CEO, Leng Leng QUEK. The sharing of ideas, experiences, and perspectives on architecture and the built environment made for an enriching and inspiring session.

It has been incredibly rewarding to be part of the team behind Lakeside View, a remarkable HDB development set against the scenic backdrop of Jurong Lake.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting the newly completed Lakeside View BTO project with Shawn Huang Wei Zhong, MP for Taman Jurong Division of West Coast–Jurong West GRC, and grassroots leaders for an exclusive preview of the development.

Nestled alongside Jurong Lake and Jurong Lake Gardens, Lakeside View enjoys a prime location between Kang Ching Road and Yuan Ching Road. Comprising seven residential blocks ranging from 11 to 18 storeys, the development offers residents beautiful views of the lake, gardens, and surrounding greenery.

What makes this project especially meaningful is the emphasis on creating spaces that bring people together. Roof gardens atop selected residential blocks and the Multi-Storey Car Park provide welcoming areas for residents to relax, connect, and enjoy their surroundings. The thoughtfully designed landscape is complemented by a range of recreational facilities, including children’s playgrounds and fitness stations for adults and seniors, supporting active lifestyles and fostering community bonds across generations.

As families begin a new chapter here, it is heartening to see this vision come to life — not just as a collection of homes, but as a vibrant community where residents can build connections, create memories, and enjoy a high quality of life amidst nature.

The 3D printing initiative by HDB is finally taking shape in our Brickland Weaves project, the first Public Housing estate to pilot 3D printed concrete structures in Singapore. Our JGP Architecture (S) Pte Ltd team witnessed the first elements to be printed at CES_Innovfab yesterday. Brickland Weaves sits in Tengah, the first HDB town planned with smart tech town-wide. As we move towards TOP completion, we will be printing column claddings, shelters and arrival canopies. Watch this space for our innovative journey with Chip Eng Seng (CES) Group.
