Raise your hand if you’re a sucker for details.

To say we can’t get enough would be an understatement, y’all. 🙌🏻

We don’t talk about lead and asbestos nearly enough, and disturbing materials that contain lead or asbestos during a renovation can put your family’s health at risk.

Please ask a professional what this means for your house, and if you ever have questions, my team is always here to talk it through with you.

We LOVE getting other industry pros together for these behind-the-scenes tours.

We all run into tricky situations on projects, and getting to share those experiences with each other is kind of the whole point.

This project gave us PLENTY to talk about. The staircase had a few tricky parts to figure out. Same with the kitchen. BUT the vision was there, so it really became, okay... how do we make this happen and keep the budget in mind?

And that’s why we keep doing these events. There’s so much we can learn from each other when we’re willing to share what’s happening on our projects.

Can’t wait for the next one. ❤️

P.S. If you’re in the Austin area, work in the industry, and want to come to the next one, send us a DM. We’ll let y’all know when we do another behind-the-scenes tour.

Remember when we said sometimes DIY turns into a full-time job? Well...

This bathroom started as a DIY fix!

We ended up taking her all the way down and starting fresh. The shower got bigger, the plumbing changed to make room for 2 shower heads, and basically the only things that stayed were the toilet, doors, and vent fan.

And now look at her.

That zellige tile with the marble floors?! So good.
