Not every bathroom remodel has to mean starting from scratch, y’all.

This sweet little secondary bath got some fresh drywall, wallpaper, paint and a little TLC, and look at her now. 😉

So if there’s a bathroom in your house that’s been driving you crazy, start with what actually needs to change. Sometimes it’s a full remodel, and sometimes a smaller scope can make a whole lotta difference.

If you’re getting estimates for a renovation, y’all, PLEASE ask how that number can change once the project starts.
 
Because a $45K estimate doesn’t mean much if you’re spending $67K by the time it’s all said and done.
 
This is exactly why we’re lump sum contractors. We do allllll of the planning upfront, give you one number for the agreed scope, and unless you decide to change something along the way, that’s the number you pay.
 
Oh, and my Texas friends... there’s another little perk. Residential remodeling under a lump sum contract isn’t subject to sales tax. We’ll take that win. 🙌🏻
 
So before you sign an estimate, ask how the pricing works once construction starts. Future you will be VERY glad you did.

Y’all, can we talk about what opening up this staircase did to the whole room?!

The old stairs took up a LOT of visual space, and now you’ve got these gorgeous wood treads, cable railing, and so much more light moving through the room.

And this is exactly why we love a good before and after... because sometimes you don’t realize how much one part of your home is changing the way the whole space feels until you see them side by side. 😉

This client asked for spice, flavor, and color. Y’all, say less! 🙌🏻
 
We got to build Blueberry Jones Design’s design for this one, turning a builder-grade coat closet into a lovely little bar in just three weeks, and would you look at her now.
 
That meant reframing the opening and tucking all that wiring out of sight because nobody wants to look at that.
 
Oh, and did we mention there’s a wine fridge hiding behind that cabinet front?
