2026 has been an excellent year so far—and it just got even better, please join us in welcoming three new team members: Justin, Brendan, and Jansen!

Justin joins us as a Senior Project Architect and brings 20 years of experience across a broad range of project types. His portfolio includes mixed-use mid and high-rise housing, single-family residential, higher and early education, civic, corporate interiors, and memory-care projects.

Brendan brings over ten years of experience in public-safety, affordable housing and residential projects; with a focus on high-performance design and detailing, building science, specifications, and construction administration.

Jansen, with nearly seven years of professional experience, brings experience on multifamily housing projects, as well as master planning and senior housing.

We’re excited to have these three on board and look forward to the experience, perspective and energy they will bring to the team.

Phase II of construction of The Berwick at 1127 Harrison is well underway! Formerly home to the Berwick Cake Company, this building takes on a new life with a community focused co-living model. Phase I consisted of gut renovating the existing concrete and steel warehouse structure into a new co-living base with units, amenities, and workshare offices, while Phase II is a vertical addition adding additional units and amenities. We’re excited to work on different housing and community models that cater to specific demographics and locales, this is a unique model we’re happy to help bring to life in Nubian Square. The City of Lynn's first ground-up 100% affordable homeownership development project has officially broken ground! 144 Market is a new ground-up 6-story building which will add 35 for-sale condominium units right in Downtown Lynn. As a transit-oriented development steps from the commuter rail, with street level retail and commercial spaces as well as abundant residential amenities and roof deck, the PHIUS Certified Design project is a defining project in Lynn for accessible and equitable housing.

Scheduled for completion in Fall 2027, the 144 Market Street Condominiums is being developed by Boston Real Estate Collaborative, Causeway Development, Eric Gustafson, withHaycon Inc. serving as general contractor. Funding partners include MassHousing, Eastern Bank, and Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development

The State Mutual Insurance Company Building is a 10-story Beaux Arts building located at 50 Congress St in downtown Boston’s Exchange District. Dating back to 1902, the historic building is a significant contributing resource to the Exchange District, and also happens to be located right next to our other historic revitalization project at 12 Post Office Square. Like 12 Post Office Square, the State Mutual Building is also undergoing adaptive re-use through Boston’s Office-to-Residential Pilot Program to convert this former office building into 169 units, complemented with a full suite of amenities (pilates and fitness studios, club room, golf simulator, and more). The brick and limestone exterior is being revitalized while the interiors (in collaboration with Conant Design Group), at nearly 200,000sf, is undergoing an extensive renovation to bring the building up to modern standards while retaining beautiful original elements such as the marble lined common entries and corridors and brass elevator banks.

The Residences at St. Paul are rising in Brookline. Framing is complete and the building shell is taking shape on both the new construction and the renovated former inn next door. Construction is pushing ahead on exterior work and setting the stage for interior build-out as we move toward delivering 13 new condos at Sewall and St. Paul. We had the opportunity to share our work and process with group of Wentworth Architecture students this past week. The class is a long-time graduate elective seminar on the design and development of affordable housing led by Jennifer Lee Michaliszyn. The students had great questions relating our thoughts on sustainable construction & energy design, cost & efficiency façade systems, and overall design thinking within the office when we approach projects. We hope that our insights bring the best for their design competition and we wish them the best!
