What a great afternoon at this year's Builder Realty Council Builder Panel Luncheon! 🏡

Tom Sattler had the privilege of moderating a panel of Metro Denver custom home builders, sharing real talk on market trends, new opportunities, today's challenges, and what REALTORS® need to know when helping clients build a custom home.

Thank you to the Builder Realty Council, Beth Avedis, our fellow panelists, and every REALTOR® who joined the conversation. Strong builder–agent partnerships make for happier homeowners!

Where every dinner party gets an upgrade. ✨

This dining room in our recently completed custom home in The Preserve at Greenwood Village is a study in bold, intentional design. A sculptural bubble chandelier in warm brass sets the tone above a striking live-edge dining table, while a shimmering mixed-tile accent wall anchors the adjacent wet bar — perfect for entertaining before the night even makes it to the kitchen.

Every element here was chosen to make gathering feel like an occasion.

The homesite comes first. Everything else follows. 🏡

Before the floor plan, before the finishes — the right lot shapes it all. Our latest article breaks down what to consider when choosing a homesite for your luxury Denver-area custom home: views, orientation, privacy, access, drainage, and how the land itself should inform the architecture.

Whether you're drawn to the seclusion of Cherry Hills, the mountain views of Larkspur, or the balance of Greenwood Village, the right lot sets the foundation for a home that truly fits how you want to live.

A room built to make a statement. 🖤

In this recently completed custom home in The Preserve at Greenwood Village, the great room does the talking. Floor-to-ceiling bookmatched stone slabs frame the fireplace wall with mirrored, natural precision — while exposed black beams and a sculptural low-hanging chandelier add depth to the soaring, two-story space.

Every material here was chosen with intention. The result: a room that feels as dramatic as it does livable.

Craftsmanship you can't rush. 🔨

This is where the magic happens — our trim team hand-detailing custom built-ins, a fireplace surround, and a coffered ceiling treatment on our latest project in Evergreen. Every reveal, panel, and joint is measured, checked, and checked again before it's called finished.

It's the kind of detail that disappears into the final result — but it's exactly why our homes feel the way they do. Stay tuned for the reveal. 🏔️

Some views deserve floor-to-ceiling windows. 🏔️

This modern living room was designed to make the most of it — a sleek linear gas fireplace framed in dark stacked stone, soaring ceilings, and walls of glass that open the room straight out to the deck and mountain views beyond. Indoor comfort meets outdoor scenery, with barely a line between the two.

This is what custom design is all about — building the space around the view, not the other way around.

Wellness, built in. 🧖

There's a reason home spa features like saunas are becoming one of the most requested additions in luxury custom homes. Kohler's move to bring premium sauna brand KLAFS into its portfolio signals what we're already seeing on the ground — sauna and cold plunge setups have moved from resort amenity to must-have home feature.

This custom sauna is designed to be a daily ritual, not an afterthought — built right into the home, ready whenever you need to reset.

Thinking about adding wellness spaces to your next build? Let's design it in from day one. 🏡

Timeless, from the curb to the front door. 🏡

This custom home in The Preserve at Greenwood Village blends classic European architecture with warm, livable design — dressed stone facades, dramatic gable rooflines, and rich wood accents framing a striking double front entry.

Layered landscaping and a graceful circular drive complete the first impression before you even step inside.
Some homes make a statement. This one makes a lasting one.
