Before "Let's Ride," we say "Let's Build." And we’re ready to do just that.

As Fort Worth Transit Partners, a joint venture of Stacy Witbeck and Sundt, we're collaborating with Trinity Metro to bring the TEXRail 🚆 Extension to life, building the track, station, and connections that link Fort Worth's Near Southside to the heart of the Medical District.

The 2.1-mile extension runs from T&P Station to a new Near Southside Station, placing the line closer to one of the region's largest concentrations of healthcare, jobs, and community activity. Once complete, this route will connect patients and families heading to care at Cook Children's, Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, and surrounding facilities — employees getting to work, and students attending class.

The 🪏 work begins now. Fort Worth, let's build!

The Sundt Foundation's inaugural Southeast charity golf tournament raised $82,000 to support Tucker's House, a nonprofit that helps make homes more secure and accessible for families with children with disabilities.

Since 2001, the Sundt Foundation has held sporting events across the country to support local nonprofits and give back to the communities where we live and work. We're proud to continue this tradition into the Southeast by supporting the important work of Tucker's House.

We love spending fall in lumberjack country 🍁🏈

Our team (plus Louie the Lumberjack) fired up the grill with construction management students at the Northern Arizona University homecoming tailgate, serving up a cookout for students and families before the big game. We also loved spending time with NAU's women in construction group and visiting the classroom to chat with future builders in the construction management program.

We're grateful to have been a partner to NAU construction management since the 1990s. This year, our commitment grew even further: in collaboration with The Beavers Charitable Trust and four other construction companies, Sundt helped establish the $1 million Beavers Endowed Distinguished Professorship of Infrastructure, NAU's first endowed faculty position. The professorship supports faculty, curriculum development and industry-connected learning experiences within the The Steve Sanghi College of Engineering at NAU.

Sundt and Arizona Department of Transportation are helping meet truck parking demand along Arizona interstates with a recently completed series of rest areas. These rest stops mark ADOT’s first ever Integrated Design Build projects.

The project expands truck parking at eight facilities along Arizona’s I-40, I-10 and I-17. These rest areas are part of a larger ADOT plan to construct hundreds of truck parking spaces in seven different sites along these Arizona interstates. These additional parking spaces address a statewide shortage of truck parking along highly trafficked freight corridors, easing congestion and improving highway safety. The project’s scope included expanding semi-truck parking, restrooms, ramadas, curb, gutter, sidewalk, lighting and ADA improvements. Sundt worked across three jobsites to successfully deliver these improvements.

Preserving space was critical in the successful addition of parking spaces for this project. The lots were constructed using a special type of grid innovation for gravel called True Grid. True Grid made the surface permeable, maximizing the space available for parking because no water retention areas are needed. Using this material conserves space, eliminates flooding and reduces potholes and cracks.

ENR Mountain States recognized the Sundt-Cannon Joint Venture’s I-86 and I-15 System Interchange Reconstruction project in Pocatello, Idaho, with an Award of Merit in the Highway/Bridge category of its Best Projects competition.

Originally built in the 1960s, the interchange received major upgrades, including eight new bridges, 10 retaining walls, new ramps and collector-distributor lanes.

Working with the Idaho Transportation Department, the team-maintained traffic through one of Idaho’s busiest transportation hubs while improving safety and mobility for drivers.

The project is part of Sundt’s broader work with ITD to modernize Idaho’s highway network and keep traffic moving smoothly across the region.

Water is the foundation of our future. What are you doing today to protect it?

Sundt is doing our part by partnering with the El Paso Water to bring reliable clean water resources that help communities secure a stable water future.

The Rio Grande River supplies water to over 50 million people and it’s currently experiencing its driest 17-year period on record. The City of El Paso has relied on the river as a main source of drinking water for over a century. To reduce dependency on the river, El Paso is constructing a first of its kind Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) that purifies recycled wastewater and sends it directly to consumers.

The facility takes the common practice of treating wastewater before releasing it into aquifers, reservoirs, or rivers one step further: it further purifies that water for direct delivery to consumers. The facility instead uses wastewater directly from the Roberto Bustamante Wastewater Treatment Plant, puts it through multi-step purification process, test it to ensure that it exceeds or matches the standards for drinkable water, and sends it out to the public. By conserving water that could otherwise be lost through evaporation and other natural processes, this direct approach transforms a previously used resource into a dependable, renewable supply.
Beyond the innovative water treatment system, the building features a public outreach space designed to educate visitors about the purification process, helping garner public support for the center.

David Rocha spent years serving up sizzling molcajetes at his family's Tucson restaurant before a friend's recommendation led him to join Sundt as a laborer in 2018.

The early days were demanding—2 a.m. concrete pours, Tucson heat—but they taught him consistency and that hard work pays off. That mindset carried him from the field to the classroom, and now into a field coordinator role for Tucson's iconic Hotel Arizona Renovation.
