Christmas came early this year for a beautiful young family in nostalgic Furdale.
These sneak peeks were supposed to greet you before Christmas, but the to-do list got long, there were gifts to wrap and planes and ferries to catch - nieces and nephews to snuggle. But I kind of like that it turned out this way - now we can all have a few quiet moments of reflection upon a beautiful season.
The sheer teamwork [and a hefty sprinkling of miracles] that it took to complete this home in time for Christmas was quite something to behold.
When we hand a house over it always feels like you’re giving your baby away - so the old adage about child rearing ‘it takes a village’ also applies to building a home.
To see the ram board come off the floors and plastic off the windows as the furniture delivery truck drove down the lane was equal parts chaos and anticipation. Getting to unpack the linen bedding and set the rugs was like a beautiful symphony, final performing after months of rehearsing.
As most of you probably know, we design everything up front and curate the furniture package as soon as the home contract is signed - so there are many months of anticipation to get the “pretty things” in place after staring at studs, drywall, and electrical boxes for months.
No two houses are the same, meaning no two construction journeys are the same. It keeps us on our toes - in the best way.
More Living. Less Stressing.
Officially introducing the much anticipated ‘Feels Like Forever’ project.
Merry Christmas to you and yours 🎄🤎
