We've used Raj Blend sandstone for the paving area, steps and copings. All bullnosed to finish.

The existing curved wall we have clad with 1.5mm corten steel.

But they have been great every day, and the neighbours have commented too on how quiet they were. Thanks to you all. Hampshire talent takes the gold! 🌿🏆

Rob Woodhouse from ⁠Solent Garden Services, at the recent BBC Gardeners' World Spring Fair 2026 at Beaulieu.

Rob teamed up with designer Vicky Lincoln to construct the stunning "Nature's Spa" Showcase Garden. Not only did they bring home a Gold award, but they also scooped up Best Showcase Garden AND the People's Choice Award.

Inspired by William Wordsworth’s poetry, the garden was built to be the ultimate relaxing wellbeing space. We loved it!

Chelsea 2026 you have been an absolute rollercoaster.

This year you've pushed me to my limits, physically and mentally.

At times you tested my patience and you definitely tested my wifes (thank you Joanne).

Amongst those challenging moments there were a lot of laughs and smiles with good people.

Im proud of what we did together.

The show itself felt like there were more 'creators' than people who had actually created.
It's all part of the game I suppose.

Contributing to the greatest horticultural show is a truly unique experience and feeling.

Silver Guilt. I'll take that.

This garden is inspired by the idea of “The Missing Collector”, a mysterious plant enthusiast who has left behind an extraordinary plant collection. The garden highlights the vital work of Plant Heritage in
protecting cultivated plants for the future and aims to inspire the next generation of National Plant Collection Holders. The garden hopes to encourage amateur enthusiasts to make a real difference to conservation.

The garden is inspired by a mysterious plant enthusiast and highlights the work of Plant Heritage with their National Plant Collections.

Being part of the construction team has been fantastic.
