Some leaks are harder to find than others! 🔧💧

This customer had been chasing a mystery leak for quite some time, and today we finally found the culprit!

Turns out, a cabinet screw had been driven right through a drain pipe years ago. Over time, the screw rusted away, eventually leaving a hole in the pipe and allowing water to escape.

Fortunately, I’ve come across something similar before, so I had a pretty good idea of what I might be looking for. Sometimes experience makes all the difference when tracking down those hard-to-find problems!

Sometimes the hardest part of plumbing isn’t fixing the problem, it’s finding it!

A cool fall morning, a warm fire, and a walk through the yard enjoying the last of the fall colors. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make for the best mornings.

They say you wear a lot of hats when you own a small business… apparently I took that literally! 😂🧢

Being a one-man operation means wearing a lot of different hats. Plumber, scheduler, estimator, bookkeeper, customer service, and everything in between.

But one of my favorite parts is the personal side of it. I get to know my customers, their homes, their families, and even their pets! 🐾

When you call Veteran Odd Jobs, you’re dealing with me from start to finish. I think that personal connection makes a big difference, and it’s something I never want to lose as a business owner.

Just one guy, wearing a lot of hats, and enjoying the relationships built along the way! 🇺🇸🔧

Took a short break between jobs today to wet a line and enjoy some of this beautiful fall weather. Sometimes you just have to slow down and enjoy the little things! 🎣

A little before and after from today’s job! 🔧

Sometimes the smallest upgrades can make a big difference! Replaced the old vanity top and faucet with a fresh new countertop and brushed gold fixture, giving this bathroom a clean, updated look without replacing the entire vanity.

Another job in the books for Veteran Odd Jobs!

Well, this is definitely a first for me! 🚽🖤

After years of working in plumbing, I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve come across an all-black bathroom, right down to the toilet!

One thing I love about this line of work is that you never know what you’re going to see from one job to the next!

Today I got to bring Benson out to Pondicherry Park in Bridgton to check out the StoryWalk that I recently helped install!

Pretty cool getting to show my little guy something I had a hand in putting together. Hopefully this is the first of many trips out here to enjoy the stories and explore the trails together.
